i know, i knoooow... it looks like i just begin how to paint watercolour, doesn't it ? what can i say, i do 
..
anyway, i used pure watercolor, mostly wet-to-wet technique (hope i got that right).
i took me an hour. no ref.

You'll be fine. The lighting is brilliant. That was the hardest thing for me to learn.
Here's an example (Eastern Dragon) of me throwing aquarels(?) around like they were crayons. I have better examples of actual watercolour work but not yet scanned, it's all crammed away in old boxes. Needless to say, it took nearly all my highschool years to work out how scenes should be lit / the fact that it even mattered. If you did this with little or no experience with watercolours I'd say it's a huge accomplishment.
